About Us
Benny’s gardens was formed in 2022 by owner, Ben Smith. We are an Ilfracombe based lawn care, gardening and grounds maintenance business.
With a combination of residential and commercial clients, we specialise in all things lawn related from various treatments to regular maintenance. In addition to our lawn care work, we also undertake a variety of gardening related tasks such as pruning, hedge cutting and weed spraying etc.
My Background
Following 20 years employed in the motor trade as a senior sales associate at BMW Westerly, Barnstaple, I decided to act upon my lifelong passion of gardening and transform the dream of ‘Benny’s Gardens’ into reality.
Initially gardening for clients on a part-time basis alongside my 9-5 job, I gradually built up a selection of professional quality plant and machinery with the long term aim of launching my business full time. In the summer of 2022 I also attained the City & Guilds PA1 & PA6 accreditation to professionally spray herbicides and pesticides professionally.
